But,&nbsp;I do know that, amongst chefs, using the whole animal is desirable because no part of it would go to waste.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-44a6356a gb-headline-text\">My question is, &#8220;what did they do with rest of it?&#8221; Evidently, Scopa only purchased the lambs tongue because there were no other lamb dishes in sight. I second guessed myself about ordering lambs tongue on such a special occasion, it seemed more fitting for an episode of Survivor (and an entry on our <a href=\"https:\/\/bucketlistjourney.net\/bucket-list-for-weird-foods\/\">Weird Food Bucket List<\/a>). Besides, choking, vomiting or gagging would not make for the ultra-sexy dining experience I was hoping for. Are you really going to ruin this uber-romantic dinner by ordering lambs tongue? Yes&#8230;Yes, I am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"gb-block-image gb-block-image-848a2685\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" class=\"gb-image gb-image-848a2685\" src=\"https:\/\/bucketlistjourney.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/Annette-lamb-tongue-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"Annette White eating lambs tongue\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bucketlistjourney.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/Annette-lamb-tongue-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/bucketlistjourney.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/Annette-lamb-tongue.jpg 324w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-2846bd40 gb-headline-text\">It arrived at the table all dolled up and pretty\u00a0as if it\u00a0were on\u00a0a first date;\u00a0laying on a bed of butter beans, dressed in a light vinaigrette\u00a0and topped with roasted onions.\u00a0\u00a0Hmm&#8230;this was deceiving because, when I squinted my eyes, it resembled the tasty filet mignon salad we served at <a href=\"http:\/\/sugopetaluma.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">our restaurant<\/a>. There&#8217;s no turning back now, dig in and please don&#8217;t taste like liver!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"gb-block-image gb-block-image-ab72b5c0\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" class=\"gb-image gb-image-ab72b5c0\" src=\"https:\/\/bucketlistjourney.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/Pete-lamb-tongue-225x300.jpg\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bucketlistjourney.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/Pete-lamb-tongue-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/bucketlistjourney.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/Pete-lamb-tongue.jpg 270w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-69ff002d gb-headline-text\">Ok, I am willing to admit that some people might like the gamy flavor and leather texture of tongue. I am not one of them!
